With Texas A&M's opener against Louisiana Tech postponed until Oct. 13 because of Hurricane Isaac, that means the Aggies will play 12 straight weeks this season without a bye.
They will be the only SEC team to do so, although Kentucky opens the season with 10 straight games before getting a bye week on Nov. 10. South Carolina opens the season by playing nine straight weeks. The Gamecocks will have a couple of extra days to prepare for their second game against East Carolina after opening the season this Thursday against Vanderbilt.
The Aggies are also the only team in the league this season that has to play three SEC road games in consecutive weeks.
