The bye week sure did Aaron Murray some good.
With his Georgia Bulldogs needing everything they had to beat Kentucky over the weekend, Murray turned in a career day against the Wildcats. The redshirt junior completed a career-high 30 passes for a career-high 427 yards and had four touchdowns. He had only eight incompletions and his 427 yards were fourth-highest in school history and second best in the SEC this season. His 78.95 completion percentage was a school record by a quarterback with at least 30 completions.
He also left the game with the school record for career touchdown passes with 75.
With Kentucky keeping up with the Bulldogs step for step, Murray gave Georgia all it needed late with his 22-yard touchdown pass to Chris Conley with five minutes remaining in the third quarter and a 10-yard touchdown pass to Arthur Lynch in the fourth.
Outside of Murray's dreadful outing against South Carolina, Murray has played his best ball as a Bulldog. Saturday's performance should give him a ton of confidence heading into the Bulldogs' crucial game with No. 2 Florida.
