Poll: SEC's must-see game in 2013

OK, everybody, be honest.

Who picked Alabama vs. Texas A&M as the must-see game in the SEC this time a year ago?

It probably wouldn't have been among my top five choices before the season began. But in retrospect, no game in the league was more compelling last season than the Aggies' 29-24 win over the then-No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Johnny Manziel was sensational and Deshazor Everett came up with the big interception late to seal it for the Aggies, who looked right at home in their first season in the SEC.

So as we turn our attention to the 2013 season, which game will rise above all the rest in the SEC? You know, the game that nobody wants to miss.

We'll let you decide by voting in our SportsNation poll.

One of the choices is the Alabama-Texas A&M rematch, which will be played the third week of the season in College Station. (The Aggies and Tide faced off in November last season.)

It's not the only September matchup that will go a long way toward determining the participants in the 2013 SEC championship game. South Carolina travels to Georgia on Sept. 7. The Gamecocks have won three straight in the series and have never won four in a row.

The Alabama-LSU matchup has been one of the hottest rivalries in college football over the last five-plus years. In each of the last seven meetings, at least one of the schools has been ranked in the top 5 nationally. They square off again on Nov. 9 in Tuscaloosa.

Georgia will be trying to make it three in a row over Florida in their annual showdown in Jacksonville, Fla., on Nov. 2. The last time the Bulldogs won three straight over the Gators was 1987-89.

And, finally, the last team to beat Texas A&M was LSU last October at Kyle Field. Those two teams get it on again this coming Nov. 23 in Baton Rouge.

All five games have the potential to be classics.

Which one will be the best?
