Tennessee's Eric Berry was initially going to announce his NFL plans Friday during the Vols' bowl media day.
But he's decided to wait until after the Chick-fil-A Bowl, which will be played on Dec. 31. Berry doesn't want to distract from the Vols' focus as they get ready for Virginia Tech.
He's rated as the No. 3 prospect in the draft by ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and has already talked about how much he's going to miss the Tennessee fans. It's expected that he will turn pro, and it's only fitting that he will play his final college game just down the road from his hometown of Fairburn, Ga.
Berry rates up there with Peyton Manning and Al Wilson as one of the most beloved Vols of the modern era.
