The Celtics won four of the previous five series, but the Lakers won the last one (1985). In all best-of-7 series tied at 2-2 in NBA history, the Game 5 winner has gone on to win the series 83.3% of the time. The Celtics have scored less than 100 points in nine straight home playoff games, one shy of tying an NBA record in a single postseason.
