Jets' DT Kris Jenkins won't play again this season. Jenkins, a 10-year veteran suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Monday night's 10-9 loss to Baltimore. It's the same same injury he sustained midway through last season.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Packers' RB Ryan Grant will require surgery to correct a torn ligament in his ankle that will leave him on crutches for 10-12 weeks, according to a source. Grant is likely to fly to New York to visit a doctor for a second opinion. FOXSports.com reports that Grant will be placed on injured reserve and miss the rest of the season.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter also reports Colts' safety Bob Sanders has a torn biceps tendon and is out indefinitely, if not for the season, according to two team sources. If Sanders is lost for the season it will be the 5th time in his 7-year NFL career he has missed at least 10 games due to injury and second straight year he will miss significant time due to biceps injuries.
