Carmelo Anthony attended Denver Nuggets media day today. "Whatever the future holds, it holds", said Anthony, who was said to be the centerpiece of a 4-team trade that would send him to the Nets. 'Melo admitted he "never once" said he wanted to be traded.

Man found guilty in deaths of Adenhart, 2 others:

A jury has found a man, Andrew Gallo, guilty of murder in the deaths of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others in a drunken-driving crash. The Orange County jury returned the verdict Monday against the 23-year-old Gallo after deliberating since Thursday. The jury also found Gallo guilty on other charges, including hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol and causing great bodily injury.

Trent Edwards Released by Bills

Trent Edwards is no longer employed by the Buffalo Bills. Last year's starter won the pre-season competition in camp, but lost the job after a dismal opener against the Green Bay Packers. Edwards had been starting off and on for the Bills since 2007.
