Sources: NFLPA Builds Collusion Case

The NFL Players Association is close to filing a collusion grievance against NFL owners. This according to union sources, who say the decision is based on a case the players' union has been building since only one of 216 restricted free agents was signed to an offer sheet during the offseason. Wednesday is the deadline to file the grievance, as dictated by the current collective bargaining agreement.

Notre Dame, Miami to Meet in Sun Bowl

Notre Dame and Miami have accepted invitations to play in the Sun Bowl on December 31. Both teams, who have plenty of history, are 7-5 heading into the 77th annual game. It will be the 24th meeting between the schools, but the first since 1990. The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 15-7-1, though the two schools have never met in a bowl.
