A weekly examination of the Rams' ESPN.com Power Ranking:
Preseason: 15 | Last Week: 20 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002
After enjoying a bump of five spots in the right direction on the heels of a dominant 38-8 win against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10, the Rams fell one spot this week despite not playing a game. With teams around them jockeying for position, the Rams lost a little ground by simply taking their bye week. It's interesting to note that Dallas, which was also on bye, actually moved up to No. 14 from 15th.
It's also worth noting that the Rams' average position in the rankings among the six voters is 20.5, which is technically tied with Baltimore for No. 20. Mike Sando had the highest opinion of the Rams this week, placing them at No. 16, while Kevin Seifert had the lowest vote for the Rams at No. 23.
In the season's final six weeks, the Rams will have plenty of opportunities to move up as they take on five teams ranked ahead of them. It starts this weekend with a home game against the No. 10 Chicago Bears.
