Terrelle Pryor leads Big Play Saturday

Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor had a 66-yard run in the first quarter against Illinois to set up the game-tying TD for the Buckeyes. It was the longest rush of Pryor's career, surpassing the 53-yard TD run he had just last week. That score was the first of the day for Ohio State as they went on to beat Eastern Michigan 73-20.

Another record-breaking play took place at Jordan-Hare Stadium, when Auburn QB Cameron Newton threw a 94-yard touchdown pass to Emory Blake. That's the longest touchdown pass in school history! The previous record was set last season, when Chris Todd connected with Terrell Zachary on a 93-yard touchdown pass against Louisiana Tech.

In the process, Auburn scored 17 points in the first quarter, its most in the opening quarter vs an FBS school since Nov. 2005, when they scored 21 against Alabama.

Other big plays in the first half of today's early games:

• Clemson had a 71-yard TD run by Andre Ellington

• Auburn got a 50-yard TD run by Onterio McCalebb

• Florida State's Jermaine Thomas scored on a 70-yard TD run
