I know a lot of you play fantasy baseball, so I wanted to point you in the direction of a great series from our fantasy department. That group is asking an important question for each team. And while the question may be fantasy in tone, the bigger issue applies to real-world baseball as well.
Here are the first three teams in the series:
St. Louis Cardinals: Mike Sheets forecasts David Freese's value after he introduced himself with a monster postseason.
Arizona Diamondbacks: Tristan Cockcroft discusses Paul Goldschmidt's potential to be a fantasy star or fantasy bust. (For what it's worth, I'm very high on Goldschmidt. Big-time power and draws enough walks to compensate for his strikeouts, and appeared to be a better athlete than advertised coming up through the minors.
Toronto Blue Jays: Tristan also examines Colby Rasmus' chances of breaking out.
