Gambling website Bovada.lv has set Ichiro Suzuki's over/under for batting average with the Yankees at .270.
What do you think? I'll take the over for a few reasons:
1. While Ichiro was hitting just .261 overall with the Mariners, he was hitting .297 on the road. Getting away from the ugly confines of Safeco Field should help.
2. There is a good chance he'll be platooned, or at least sit against some left-handers. He's hitting .278 against right-handers, .236 against left-handers.
3. Maybe he'll be re-energized playing for the Yankees and in a pennant race.
