W2W4: Eagles at Buccaneers

TAMPA, Fla. -- Three things to watch in Sunday’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles:

1. The fast-break offense. The Eagles have been operating their offense at a very fast pace. That could be an issue for the Buccaneers, who like to rotate their defensive linemen. They might not be able to do much of that if Philadelphia is getting its plays off quickly. That could cause the defense to wear down.

2. Doug Martin. With rookie Mike Glennon starting at quarterback, it’s obvious that defenses are going to devote most of their attention to stopping Martin and the running game. The Bucs have to put a stop to that. They need to start letting Glennon take some shots deep down the field.

3. Finally, a tight end. For the first time this season, the Bucs might get some production in the passing game from a tight end. Tom Crabtree, who missed the first four games with an ankle injury, is expected to make his debut. He should be an upgrade over the patchwork combination of tight ends the Bucs had been using.
