Buccaneers' injury update

TAMPA, Fla. -- Sunday’s 41-28 victory against the Atlanta Falcons didn’t bring only good news for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There was some potentially bad news on the injury front.

Coach Greg Schiano said Monday that middle linebacker Mason Foster is being observed after suffering a concussion. Foster will have to pass the league’s protocol on concussions before he can be cleared to practice or play.

Schiano also said that rookie cornerback Johnthan Banks suffered a shoulder injury and is day to day. Schiano said he’s hoping Banks can return to practice later in the week.

Schiano also said that defensive end Da'Quan Bowers, who missed the Atlanta game with a concussion, should be able to return to practice Wednesday.
