Mark Dominik, the former general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has a new job.
Dominik is joining ESPN as an NFL front office insider. He’ll be a contributor to the "NFL Insiders" show. He also will appear on "NFL Live," "SportsCenter" and ESPN Radio.
“Mark has almost two decades of experience moving up the ranks in an NFL organization, so he’s well-versed in scouting, free agency, player development and so many of the issues we delve into each day on 'NFL Insiders,'” said Seth Markman, senior coordinating producer for ESPN’s NFL studio shows. “He adds another credible voice to our team and will make us even better.”
This is a natural move for Dominik, who was fired by the Bucs after the team went 4-12 last season. In addition to his knowledge of the inner workings of the NFL, Dominik is articulate and telegenic.
“I am excited to join ESPN and look forward to sharing my perspective on the kinds of issues and decisions general managers face daily within their organizations,’’ Dominik said.
