On the air: Week 6 broadcast team

If you're watching the Tennessee Titans at the Seattle Seahawks on television at 4:05 ET on Sunday, you'll be hearing CBS' Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf on the call.

It’s the second time the network’s second-ranked broadcast team will call the Titans. They had the call for Jets-Titans two weeks ago.

We’re tracking the weekly broadcast teams and their standing at their network.

Broadcast teams are scheduled well in advance. I’m surprised the Tennessee at Seattle is drawing the No. 2 team, not that game-quality outweighs audience size in assignments.

The top pairing of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will be joined by Bill Cowher at Steelers-Jets and the No. 3 team of Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts will be joined by Shannon Sharpe at the Jaguars-Broncos game.

It’s not there yet, but you’ll ultimately find a distribution map for this game and the whole league at 506 sports.
