RTC: Titans' swagger is gone

Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…

The swagger of September is long gone and the Titans hardly competed in a game many of them called a must-win, says Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.

To which I say: Optimists will point to how good the past three defenses the Titans have played are. But it's quite dangerous to presume they'll automatically move the ball against lesser defenses.

The Titans have fallen and David Climer of The Tennessean is not sure they can get up. There is only so much that can be done to tweak a roster at this point.

Darius Reynaud is a mess, says John Glennon of The Tennessean,

Jake Locker’s return didn’t stop the offense from sputtering, says Glennon.

Center Brian Schwenke seemed pretty effective in his first NFL game, says Wyatt.

The Titans got Ds across the board except for the F in coaching in Wyatt’s report card.

David Boclair of the Nashville Post reviews the three injured Titans who returned to action: Locker, Shonn Green and Sammie Hill.

This three-game skid confirms the Titans are average/mediocre, says Tom Gower of Total Titans.
