RTC: Considering Titans' best comebacks

Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans ...

Inspired by the Texans’ big comeback Monday night, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean looks back at the five best comebacks the Titans have pulled off.

The Titans signed offensive tackle Jeff Adams to their practice squad, filling the spot created with the promotion of fullback Collin Mooney, says Wyatt.

To which I say: They Titans have four tackles on their 53-man roster already.

The Titans worked out some linebackers on Tuesday, says Wyatt.

To which I say: Standard fare on Tuesday to keep lists and files updated.

Jake Locker completed just one pass to the right side of the field, according to Thomas Maney of Pro Football Focus. Here’s his refocus piece on Titans-Steelers.

Titans play-by-play man Mike Keith would like to see the league mandate three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster and another on the practice squad.

To which I say: Four per team is too many. I’d let teams choose whether to keep two or three on their roster. But everybody should have one on the practice squad in order to maximize development opportunities.

Derrick Mason thinks the Titans are as deep at receiver as they’ve ever been, and he’s right.
