More on Wade's defensive snafu

Brian Windhorst wrote up the discussion inside the Heat camp surrounding Luol Deng's game-winning basket on Thursday night,when Dwyane Wade left Deng in the left corner to collapse on Derrick Rose.

Wade really needs to understand where Erik Dampier is, and realize that he doesn’t need to sink all the way in on Rose because Dampier is already protecting the rim. Also, Wade gets caught turning his back to his man. A mistake on top of a mistake.

UPDATE: Wade injured his shoulder on a very similar play in February 2007.
