DeJuan Blair's 20-20

I recorded the San Antonio vs. Oklahoma City game last night mostly to observe how the 6th-ranked Thunder defense is getting it done. But I quickly got sidetracked.

I couldn't take my eyes off DeJuan Blair.

With Tim Duncan taking off the second game of a back-to-back, Gregg Popovich fielded a lineup of three guards, Richard Jefferson and Blair at center.

That's a pretty hefty, almost Hayes-ian load on both ends for a 6-6 rookie drafted in the second round. But from the first tip, Blair controlled the interior. He owned the paint and anyone who tried to invade his territory:
