Shaquille O'Neal is the Godfather

Antoine Walker was upset about not starting, so he complained to his boss... the person he thinks makes things happen in Miami. That's not team president and coach Pat Riley. That's not owner Micky Arison. That's Shaquille O'Neal. Chip Brown reports (permalink busted, scroll down):

"Shaq is the one person I went to because I believe it's his team," said Walker, who was eventually moved into the starting lineup at mid-season based on his hard work. "Shaq's the guy you have to have that kind of a relationship with on this team."

Said Shaq of his early-season meeting with Walker, "I told him, 'Don't worry about it.' Then I told him that old bullcrap cliche about, 'It doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes.'
