In the last five minutes I read one report that Chicago is likely to draft Thomas second overall, unless Michael Jordan and the Bobcats can nab him by trading up to the top overall pick.
Then I see a report that he might be available with the seventh pick. Jonathan Givony reports:
A trade that appears to be in the works between Chicago and Boston involves Chris Duhon going to the Celtics with the #7 and #16 picks swapping hands. That trade would give the Celtics the true playmaker they covet and allow Chicago to potentially draft Tyrus Thomas if he continues to slip and is there at #7.
What does this mean? It means no one knows what's going to happen. It's a wild draft.
