It's a perfectly good article (don't think it's online yet), but there's some serious irony.
Author Patrick Cassidy talks a fair amount about how the media gives Iverson a raw deal. Then he talks about how DIME has always been squarely in Iverson's corner. Then he talks to all kinds of people who know Iverson, from Shavlik Randolph to a Reebok executive.
Then the article ends.
As in, DIME has been in Iverson's corner every step of the way, and put him on the cover... and he didn't even take five minutes to pick up the phone and talk to the reporter writing the cover story.
Sure, the media can be hard on Allen Iverson. But he can be pretty hard on the media, too...
