JonesIn the first round, James Jones made no more than four field goals in any game and scored a total of 38 points in five games.
Sunday, Jones scored 25 points off the bench, setting the Miami Heat franchise record for points off the bench in a playoff game, and he went 4-for-5 from three-point range in the second quarter, tying the Heat postseason record for three-pointers in a single quarter.

Catch-And-Shoot Jump Shots
Jones took all seven of his field goal attempts without taking a dribble. In the playoffs, 32 of his 36 field goal attempts have been catch-and-shoot attempts, including shots taken in transition.
In fact, six of Jones’ seven field goal attempts -- and all five of his makes -- came while he was unguarded.
Dwyane Wade scored 38 points, including 23 in the first half, one shy of his career high for points in the first half of a playoff game. He averaged just 12.8 points per game in four regular-season meetings with the Celtics.
Wade had twice as many isolation plays on Sunday as he averaged in the first round. He was especially effective against Ray Allen, going 3-for-3 with eight points in isolation plays with Allen defending.
Dwyane Wade Isolation Plays
Wade shot 6-for-11 from 15 feet or farther in Game 1; his six field goals from that range were two more than he made in his previous four games against Boston.
During the regular season, Wade had the lowest field goal percentage of the 69 players who attempted at least 15 field goals from at least 15 feet against the Celtics.
The Celtics will need more production from Rajon Rondo going forward. The point guard picked up three early fouls and played just eight minutes in the first half without an assist, as the Celtics trailed by 15 at halftime. The Celtics outscored the Heat by seven with Rondo on the floor.
Rondo finished with eight points and seven assists after averaging 19 and 12, respectively, in the first-round sweep of the Knicks.
