Friday night, LeBron James and his mighty band of Cleveland Cavaliers will appear in Boston to take on the defending champion Boston Celtics.
Most expect this to be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals, and it's not hard to find those who predict the winner of the East will win the whole enchilada this June.
And still to be determined is who will have home court advantage if and when these two teams do tango in the playoffs. So there's plenty to play for and it should be a great game.
I'm very excited that I'll be there.
I'm also kind of excited, and more than a little trepidatious, to tell you that I'm going to tweet that whole darned game. As in, Twitter. No, I'm not going to do a play-by-play. It won't replace following the game on the TV, radio or at the stadium. But if all goes well, I'll see and hear things that most people won't be able to see and hear, and I'll try to let you know about those more or less in real time from press row.
One extra cool thing about Twitter, too, is that people physically in the arena can follow along.
It'll be an experiment. Frankly, I have no idea how it'll go. But it'll be fun to try something new, and I hope you'll follow along.
(If you're new to Twitter -- don't worry, I am too! We can make mistakes together! Click here and it's pretty self-explanatory.)
Game is at 8 p.m. ET. See you on your phone or wherever you enjoy Twitter.
