Redskins injury report: four questionable

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins caught a break when the Kansas City Chiefs released their injury report. They might be in good shape with their own as well.

The Chiefs will be without linebacker Justin Houston (elbow), who has a team-best 11 sacks this season, tight end Anthony Fasano (concussion/knee) and offensive tackle Branden Albert (knee) for Sunday’s game (1 p.m. ET, CBS).

Meanwhile, the Redskins listed safety Reed Doughty (concussion), tight end Jordan Reed (concussion), safety Brandon Meriweather (chest) and fullback Darrel Young (hamstring) as questionable. Both Doughty and Reed expressed confidence they would play, though that’s usually the case with players. Meriweather also sounded hopeful about playing and Young has expressed optimism for each of the past two weeks (only to sit).

Both Doughty and Meriweather were full participants in practice. Jordan Reed had expected to play last week as well, but a game-day headache sidelined him for a second consecutive game.
