While starting right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle/concussion) returned for warmups and position drills at Patriots practice Thursday, he did not participate in any team drills, per the club. If Cannon can not play Sunday, four-year veteran Cameron Fleming would be his projected replacement.

On the injury front, RB Rex Burkhead (ribs) remained out at the start of practice for the second day in a row. Meanwhile, starting right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle/concussion) was back for the start of the practice after missing Wednesday. How much he does in team drills will be learned later in the day. Also, reserve DT Vincent Valentine (knee) was not spotted.
