After beating the Boston Bruins in six games, the Ottawa Senators advance to the second round of the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs and will face the New York Rangers. It's the first time since the 2012-13 season the Senators have advanced past the first round. The Senators and Rangers played three games during the regular-season series with Ottawa finishing with a 2-1-0 record. The Senators outscored New York 8-5 in that span. Even though the Rangers (wild card) finished with 102 points during the regular season, the Senators (98 points) have home-ice advantage because they placed second in the Atlantic Division. Early prediction: Rangers in six.

Fred Hoiberg was quick to mention the Celtics' seven made first-quarter 3s in Game 3. Because of them, the Bulls have to start better and "not give them so much confidence early," Hoiberg added.

Terrific split screen shot on NESN of Machado-Pedroia conversation. Pedroia said, "It's not me." Machado pointed to head.

Not surprising in 6-0 game that Matt Barnes would take opportunity to throw at Manny Machado. Out of bounds, though, to throw up around head.

Krejci suffered a lower-body injury in the first period and did not return in Game 5 Friday night at Canadian Tire Centre. He was on the receiving end of a knee-on-knee hit by the Senators' Chris Wideman.
