ESPN Boston to launch radio show

ESPNBoston.com will launch an Internet-only radio show, "ESPNBoston.com Radio with Adam Jones," on April 8.

The show will air live Monday through Friday from noon to 2 p.m. ET and be available through ESPNBoston.com and ESPN Radio applications. It will be hosted by Adam Jones, who has served a variety of roles at 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston since 2009, including hosting a show with Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy. Jones, a New England native and 2008 graduate of Northeastern University, worked at 890 ESPN radio in Boston from 2006-09.

Drew Brooks, who also worked at 890 ESPN, where he produced and provided on-air updates, will produce the ESPNBoston.com show and be Jones's on-air sidekick. He graduated from Emerson College in 2007 and hosted a morning sports talk show in Phoenix from 2009-10.

"This will be a great new way to connect and interact with Boston sports fans on a daily basis," said Peter Lawrence-Riddell, managing editor for ESPNBoston.com. "We're extremely excited to add the show to ESPN Boston's content offerings."
