FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Quarterback Tom Brady, who played through rib and finger injuries Sunday, did not practice Wednesday and was listed with right shoulder, right finger and rib injuries.
Brady had also missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday last week. He was listed as questionable on the team's injury report heading into their game against the Carolina Panthers, and coach Bill Belichick later said that there was concern up to game-time about his availability.
"We waited until game time to see exactly all the ... to make the final decision," Belichick said Tuesday. "We thought there was certainly a chance that he would play, a good chance that he would play, but also a concern. That's why it was listed the way it was."
In addition to Brady, nose tackle Vince Wilfork (foot) and defensive tackle Ty Warren (ankle) missed practice with injuries. Wilfork injured his foot in the first half of Sunday's game and returned for one play in the second half before leaving for good. Wilfork threw his helmet to the ground as he left the field.
