Tom Brady practices Thursday, Friday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who missed Wednesday's practice with right finger, rib and right shoulder injuries, was present at practice Thursday and Friday at Gillette Stadium.

Media members are allowed to watch only a small portion of the start of practice, which includes stretching drills. Brady was present both Thursday and Friday, but the Patriots submitted a participation report Thursday stating that his action was limited.

At 4 p.m. ET Friday, the Patriots will give more details about Brady's participation level in the day's practice and indicate his status for Sunday's game at Buffalo (out, doubtful, questionable, probable or off the injury report).

Brady's toughness was detailed in this piece on ESPNBoston.com. His former teammate Tedy Bruschi said Thursday in a chat: "He's one of the toughest guys in the locker room. He's trying to lead by example that even though you're hurt, you still need to be there for your team."

Brady missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday last week. He was listed as questionable on the team's injury report heading into the Patriots' game against the Carolina Panthers, and coach Bill Belichick later said that there was concern up to game time about his availability.
