Source: Cunningham, Pats agree to deal

With their rookies scheduled to be on the field Sunday, the New England Patriots reached agreement Saturday night with former Florida outside linebacker Jermaine Cunningham on a four-year contract, according to a league source.

Cunningham is the first of three Patriots second-round draft picks to wrap up his deal. There still are two more, tight end Rob Gronkowski and linebacker Brandon Spikes, in addition to first-round pick Devin McCourty.

The 6-foot-3, 266-pound Cunningham was drafted 53rd overall by New England.
