Chad Ochocinco inactive vs. Ravens

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots rookie running back Stevan Ridley and receiver Chad Ochocinco were both on the inactive list for Sunday's 23-20 AFC Championship victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Ridley fumbled in each of his last two games. The Patriots had BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Danny Woodhead and Kevin Faulk at running back, with Lousaka Polite at fullback. Fellow rookie running back Shane Vereen was also inactive for the seventh straight week.

Ochocinco, who traveled to Florida on Friday night to attend his father's funeral, wais inactive for the second time this season. The first time came in late November, against the Eagles, when he suffered a hamstring injury and didn't make the trip. Ochocinco played one snap last week and has just 15 receptions on the season.

Third-year offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer missed his seventh straight game with back/foot injuries. Rookie Nate Solder once again stepped in for Vollmer. Solder was cleared after being listed on the injury report this week with a concussion.

Elsewhere along the offensive line, Donald Thomas was inactive, while third-year defensive lineman Ron Brace was active for the first time since Dec. 18.

Fourth-year linebacker Gary Guyton was also among the Patriots' inactives as a healthy scratch. With Brandon Spikes, Jerod Mayo and Rob Ninkovich starting at linebacker, and with backups Tracy White, Dane Fletcher and Niko Koutouvides contributing more on special teams, Guyton had been edged out for a spot on the 46-man roster.

Baltimore CB Chykie Brown was inactive, but CB Chris Carr, who missed last week's win over Houston with thigh and back injuries, was suited up.
