No 'Gray' area, just 'Blount' truth

Patriots coach Bill Belichick's quality decision-making was most recently evidenced by his handling of RBs Jonas Gray and LeGarrette Blount. After Gray rushed for 201 yards and four TDs vs. the Colts, he overslept and missed practice, a big Belichick no-no. Gray didn't play a single down in the next game, as Belichick opted to give primary ball-carrying duties to Blount, a recently re-signed reclamation project in his second go-round in New England after getting released by the Steelers. Blount delivered with 78 yards and two TDs against the Lions in a performance reminiscent of his playoff prowess last season. -- Dan Peterson
