6. Fenway's 100th Anniversary Bash

April 20: The Red Sox celebrated Fenway Park's 100th anniversary in grand style, as dozens of former managers and players -- including Carl Yastrzemski, Carlton Fisk, Jim Rice and Dennis Eckersley -- took the field and stood at their former positions before a game against the Yankees. A highlight was when Johnny Pesky, 92, and Bobby Doerr, 93, were pushed in wheelchairs to their respective spots by Jason Varitek and Tim Wakefield. It was a goosebumps moment. Also touching: When former Sox manager Terry Francona walked out to the loudest cheers of the day.
