Fighters who know how to properly manage their energy during a fight and preserve their second wind are more likely to hang on through an assault -- or launch one of their own -- in the late rounds. He often starts slowly, gradually stepping up his pace through the middle of a fight, until he eventually overwhelms his opponent. That's precisely how he dominated Miguel Cotto in his most recent fight.
