This is about effort, will, pride, spite and that second engine that very few champions possess. It just so happens that Marquez is one of them. He never quits, ever. Pacquiao belongs in the conversation with his nemesis; nothing stops him. But due to his style, he doesn't get hit as often as Marquez, whose grit is tested regularly. After their second fight, Nacho Beristain, Marquez's trainer, said, "They hit each other a lot. They withstand a lot. These boys shouldn't fight any longer." But they went on to meet in a third fight, and here we are for No. 4. That should say something about both men.
