Five keys for Bryan Vera

Last September, Bryan Vera came up on the wrong end of a debated decision in his close battle against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Although he set the pace and threw more punches, the judges saw him losing 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94 on the scorecards.

The result was so contentious that an immediate rematch was ordered for Saturday (HBO, 9:45 p.m. ET/PT) at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

In their first fight, Chavez (47-1-1, 32 KOs) had signed to fight at 168 pounds but was unable to make weight. After he paid an extra sum of six figures to Vera (23-7, 14 KOs), the fighters agreed to a catchweight of 173 pounds. For the rematch, the contract weight returns to the super middleweight limit of 168 pounds.

Here are five keys to victory for Vera against Chavez:

Move your body

Surprise, surprise

Finish strong

Beware of the hook
