ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Atlantic City police say 25-year-old junior middleweight Gabriel Rosado and five other men face charges after they brawled with police and security at a casino where the fighter had won a bout hours earlier.
Sgt. Monica McMenamin says the brawl at Bally's Atlantic City began around 3:15 a.m. Saturday, when the men became disorderly and were asked to leave the casino. McMenamin says they threatened a police officer, who called for backup.
Moments later, Rosado, of Philadelphia, allegedly punched the officer in the face, splitting his lip.
Rosado was charged with aggravated assault on police and making terroristic threats, and his bail was set at $200,000.
