In a battle expected to be a candidate for fight of the year, and without any titles on the line, junior welterweight titlist Lamont Peterson will face the most dangerous opponent of his career in Lucas Matthysse on Saturday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.

The bout was agreed to at 141 pounds, and Peterson (31-1-1, 16 KOs) will have to overcome an opponent who is very similar to him in style: aggressive, fast and powerful.
