"When we had a chance to play them on Christmas Eve, I was extremely nervous about the kid, employee No. 29 there. I think he's a dynamic player. I even stated it, I kind of put him in the, it's a big statement, but like a young Darren Sproles because he's not a real big guy, but he's built well in his lower half. He has some human joystick qualities to him where he can start and stop and make you miss. It happened when we punted to him one time, our gunner was right there and he took a chance. The other thing that you like about a good returner is he was a risk taker, and you want to have risk-takers. I think if we go back in history and you look at Devin Hester, he was a risk-taker." -- New Bears special teams coordinator on Tarik Cohen.

"People have a picture in their mind of what they want, what they're looking for, and you know, obviously I haven't met that criteria to those people who are looking. And I don't take it personal. I don't think I'm any less deserving or less qualified. I know I do a hell of a job, but I don't take it personal. And even when Ryan Pace came in and asked me to interview for the [Bears head coaching] job, I said, fine if you want me to, but I wouldn't want it to be held against whoever you hire that I interviewed for the job and that may make them uncomfortable. So I made sure of that." -- Bears DC Vic Fangio on being passed over again for a head coaching job.
