Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler combined for 20 of the Bulls' 32 points in 1st quarter. Those two are always aggressive offensively but it's clear that they are trying to take even more shots with reserves tonight.

Cubs GM Jed Hoyer hopes one conversation between Miguel Montero and Joe Maddon is all it takes to smooth things over after the catcher complained about a lack of communication between the two. Hoyer likes the combo of Montero and Willson Contreras. The Cubs will look for a veteran catcher to stash in the minors in case he's needed.
