Bears coach John Fox made a point on Wednesday to praise cornerback Kyle Fuller for spending the most time watching film on his iPad prior to last week's game at Baltimore. On Thursday, Bears DC Vic Fangio said he doesn't care much about how long a guy spends on the iPad. Fangio says most of the teaching needs to be done in the building - not at home.

Bears DC Vic Fangio says cornerback Marcus Cooper is now fully recovered from back spams. Cooper was inactive Week 5 and dressed in Week 6, but barely played vs. Baltimore.

Kershaw battles Quintana in Game 5

The Dodgers are 6-1 in Clayton Kershaw's last seven postseason starts and also won a game when he appeared in relief. The only loss was the decisive Game 6 of last year's NLCS at Wrigley Field. Jose Quintana has a 1.59 ERA in 11 1/3 innings pitched this postseason.

St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Sobotka has been fined $5,000 by the NHL for a high-sticking infraction on Patrick Sharp of the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night, for which he received a double-minor at 14:40 of the third period. That's the maximum amount he could be fined by the League. After the Blackhawks' 5-2 loss to the Blues, Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said Sharp was "fine." He also said the Blackhawks were "brutal" in that loss, which is accurate.
