We've covered the idea of Matt Jones joining the Bears multiple times this offseason.

In fact, Jones spoke openly about his agent having contact with the Bears during an appearance on a Little Rock, Ark., sports radio station back in July.

It now appears the Bears are still somewhat intrigued by the free-agent receiver, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports via his Twitter account:

"Titans bringing former Jags WR Matt Jones to Tennessee tomorrow for a visit. Cowboys and Bears also expressing some interest."

Jay Cutler said Tuesday he does not expect the Bears to bring in any additional veteran help at wide receiver. Of course, Cutler isn't the general manager, so maybe the Bears are still looking for a way to improve that position. As I've stated previously, what's the harm in bringing Jones aboard? Wouldn't he be a better fourth receiver than Rashied Davis or Brandon Rideau?
