Wrigley Field will be open for business in October, but it won't be for postseason baseball.
The Chicago Cubs and Groupon will hold a movie night Oct. 1 at Wrigley featuring "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
It's a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the movie that was based in Chicago and features scenes at Wrigley.
There will be three giant movie screens in the ballpark, and fans are invited to set up picnic blankets on the field or sit in bleacher seats.
There will be an attempt to break a world record singing the movie's anthem, "Danke Shoen."
Tickets are $10 for a bleacher seat, $25 for an outfield lawn seat or $75 for a VIP outfield lawn seat that includes access to a pre-event party at the Captain Morgan Club.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. CT.
