Luol Deng out vs. Knicks

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Luol Deng, C.J. Watson and Rip Hamilton will not play for the Chicago Bulls on Monday when they host the New York Knicks.

On the positive side, Joakim Noah is scheduled to return after missing Saturday's win over the Utah Jazz with an illness.

Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver will join Noah, Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer in the starting lineup.

"We feel the strength of the team is our depth," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "Our bench guys have done a great job all season long. And everybody does their job. So when one guy goes out, the next guy steps in. He knows what he has to do, and he gets it done."

Deng has a torn ligament in his left wrist, and the pain sidelined him Saturday as well. Watson has a left ankle sprain and Hamilton has a right shoulder sprain. The status of Deng and Watson for Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat is uncertain.

"We'll see. You can't play if you don't practice," Thibodeau said.
