Stephon Tuitt an ND recruit -- again

Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly changed Stephon Tuitt's mind -- again -- a day after the heralded recruit took back his verbal promise to the Fighting Irish and committed to Georgia Tech.

As of late Wednesday night, the 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end is Irish once again.

Kelly, defensive coordinator Bob Diaco, recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin and defensive line coach Mike Elson visited Tuitt, a four-star athlete, Wednesday at his home in Monroe, Ga.

"I feel like I got some things off my chest," Tuitt told IrishSportsDaily.com. "Some things about the college and some of the little things and big things. They answered all my questions. I finally have some closure. I'm 100 percent."

Hours before the meeting with the Notre Dame contingent, Tuitt confirmed his pledge to the Yellow Jackets with Georgia Tech coaches.

With Tuitt, Kelly and Co. have pieced together one of the top defensive classes in decades at Notre Dame, one that includes Aaron Lynch (DE) and Ishaq Williams (OLB).
