Report: Chelios scores win in DUI case

Chris Chelios's DUI charge could be dismissed after a judge ruled police lacked probable cause to arrest the former Chicago Blackhawks star, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

DuPage County Judge Cary Pierce made the ruling after viewing a 15-minute police videotape of the Dec. 28 traffic stop and sobriety test conducted by Westmont police. The ruling could lead to a formal request from Chelios' attorney to dismiss the charge, according to the report.

"The case is over," defense attorney Terry Ekl told the paper. "This video is as clear cut as possible that he was not impaired by alcohol."

Westmont police declined comment to ESPNChicago.com.
