The Chicago Sky were awarded the third pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft during Tuesday's draft lottery.
"This is an exciting opportunity for the Sky to head into the 2011 season with some momentum on our side," said Sky GM and coach Pokey Chatman. "We're looking to improve from 2010 and this is our first shot."
The Sky had a 17.8 percent chance to land the top pick. Minnesota, which had a 38 percent chance, won the lottery and the right to pick first.
