Bears' Lance Briggs is questionable

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs failed to practice again Friday, but he is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at Soldier Field.

"He's a quick healer," Bears head coach Lovie Smith said Friday. "We still have time before the game. [But] he hasn't practiced all week."

Briggs hurt his right ankle near the end of the Bears' 23-6 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Brian Iwuh took all first-team reps at weakside linebacker and is expected to start in place of Briggs, with Nick Roach serving as the emergency backup.

This would be the fourth game Briggs has missed since entering the NFL in 2003.
